Clubs

An important part of the Primary School is to give children a ‘little taster’ of many different activities and hobbies as we possibly can.

Children can then have a go at an activity and see if it is something they then want to continue at Secondary School and beyond! Therefore  our after school and extra-curricular clubs are not just football! We aim to give as much variety as possible so there should be something that appeals to every child.

Our clubs are taught by teachers, teaching assistants and outside providers.

We have sports clubs that cover football, netball/basketball, hockey, gymnastics, rugby, cricket and athletics. We also have provided clubs for dance, cheerleading, foreign languages, music, gardening, art/crafts, ceramics, cookery, forest schools and even an origami club!

Please come and speak to Mr Barnett about our clubs. We welcome all feedback as this helps us decide whether to run the club again. Also, let us know if there’s something you would like to see us run. We do listen! If we can find someone to run a club and we have the space-we will try to accommodate it.

Our clubs are very popular, so please check parentmail and return the online form by the deadline date. Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis. For children who qualify for pupil premium, the school is able to cover the cost of attending clubs.
